[Since the phone had raised more questions than it actually answered, the mage has struck out on his own this fine morning. He found a long coat in his closet -- granted, it's a far cry from his usual feathery get-up, but it's a coat. And a yardstick in the garage will work for a staff of sorts. It's too short, and he can't possibly do any magic

[Her quest to acquire more pants has met with a few obstacles, that's all. Besides, isn't the poodle adorable? She thinks it's very charming in a horrible, blinding sort of way.]

They really are! Huh. But I wonder if the animals here are weird drone things, too?

The people who act like everyone's always been here and don't notice the weird stuff. The others call them drones.

That's... just spectacular. Is there any way to alter this... droning?

Uh. I'm not really sure. I hear sometimes it's temporary! One of my friends... she was turned into a drone, but I haven't been able to snap her out of it yet.

There must be some way. If it can be done... maybe it can be reversed by the same process.

Well, because it's a phone. You use them to talk to people, only normally they don't ring everyone. I guess the ones here are special!
