in Nature from former and current folks involved with the IPCC. Most were not exactly happy about 'climategate' but they were glad that it highlighted a problem many of them had and that is with how global climate change data is disseminated. Towards that end apparently the Obama administration is planning on making ALL data used by our (U.S.) federally funded researchers be publicly available for critical evaluation. FINALLY! In the same article they almost all agreed that the IPCC should be evolved into an agency that actually seeks to work with industry to facilitate reductions in greenhouse gasses rather than an agency that just makes edicts and leaves everyone else to pick up the pieces.
