Tom Delay
Well, yesterday the Hammer got hit right on the noggin' by a grand jury from none other than the great city of Austin.
Immediately following the indictment of the biggest bag of sleaze in Congress, the Republican Noise Machine and right-wingnut blogosphere hit back with completely baseless charges that Travis County's own beloved District Attorney, Ronnie Earle was a partisan hack and that Delay's indictment was "political retribution," if I may quote the Bugman himself. Nevermind the facts, the Right just spins and spins until it ain't distinguishable from the truth anymore.
This time however, the echo chamber is only their own empty heads.
Let's hear quite a few cheers for the good folks on that Austin grand jury.
