Depending on who you ask (or where you look on the internet), a triskele represents a lot of things that come in threes- past, present, and future, stages of womanhood, sky, air, and earth, ect. - plus the triangle cutout in the middle is often thought to represent a womb, or more figuratively, creativity - all things important to me. But I specifically chose the design with three spirals to represent myself and my two best friends, Paul and Kathleen, and all we've been through together, and also my three siblings. A lot of meanings for such a simple, small symbol, I admit. :)
Mine! Hard to believe those things are nearly two years old. Sometimes I forget I have them and someone will say something and I'll be like, "What? Tattoo?"
I AM IN LOVE. IT LOOKS VERY SOPHISTICATED. :D So it didn't hurt as much as you thought it would? How much is that, exactly? I plan to join the tattoo ranks...in the far-off future, that is.
THANK YOU. ;) Well, the back of the neck is supposedly one of the most painful places one can get tattooed, but I really didn't have too bad a time with it. The worst part was the outline, and the best comparison for the pain would be to think of someone pinching you really hard. I've had things a lot more painful happen to me, and this was a cakewalk, comparatively. :)
