When you accidentally pull your headphone jack out of your iPhone while you’re playing something in iTunes, the playback will automatically stop. I sometimes use this as a quickie way to stop playback when fumbling the phone out of my pocket and jabbing at the pause button will take too long. HOWEVER, this is not so with the phone’s text-to-speech function. If you pull the jack out of the phone while it’s reading - IT WILL KEEP ON READING ALOUD. I get cold sweats thinking of Siri merrily reading out some hardcore from my hip pocket at the whole train because I snagged the cord and pulled the jack out of the phone. I’m getting a cold sweat right now thinking about it.
I mean…
It's bound to happen. It's inevitable.
