Gabriel was a little nervous taking Elle shopping the next day. He wasn't really sure where to take her, so he finally settled on a section of town that had alot of popular stores. Not the kind of place he ever shopped at, but somehow he didn't think Elle wanted a pair of khakis and a sweater vest.
Though, he was sure she would look good in them. Then again, he was pretty sure she would look good in anything. Or nothing. He really liked how she looked when she was wearing nothing, but that was hardly appropriate for leaving his apartment. And she couldn't just keep wearing the one outfit she had brought with her.
All in all though, he was happy as he walked alongside with her, arms linked. He never thought things would go smoothly. He kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. For her to decide she didn't want him anymore. Or for the Company to come after them again.
But so far so good. Maybe he didn't need to worry so much.
He smiled, bringing his free hand to push his glasses back up the bridge of his nose before turning to look over at her. "Which store do you want to go in first?"
