Cleveland
Ok, so Cleveland might not rock as much as the song claims, but Case so totally rocks. I took a quick, self-guided tour of campus today and I must say that NCSU could only hope to have so much culture. There is definitely something to be said for going to a private university. I also had dinner with three of the grad students from my new department at an Indian/Greek restaurant - see what I mean by culture? Then we went to Jillians (yeah, they have those here too) and shot some pool and had some locally brewed beer. It was good. I also learned that when you get a bunch of chemistry grad students together with advisors from Europe, you get fun times. Every month, the department goes out (including profs) and chills in a local bar. And next week, the beer that the department brewed will be ready for drinking. I think I might fit in here. We are all nerds together at Case!
