(no subject)
So, I walk in work today and they are offering me a chance to go o a TDY to Virginia at Langley. It right on the beach, and some friends from Tech school are there. I got all excited. They dont usually pick Airman to go. I cant explain how excited I was. Then I found out the dates. I would leave Shaw on the 20th. Well, I will be on leave. So, I called the airlines to see if I could switch dates but I thought about it, I would be letting someone down if I did this, so I hung up the phone and said those words... "I cant go". LOL. All I kept saying all day was 'This just means there is a better one coming to me, and that I am destined to go on my leave'
Anyways...Things are good...could be better but then again they could be a lot worse. Ya know. lol. I take a test tomorrow and then I will be studying my EOC in a month. If I dont pass this, they kick me out of the career field I am in now. I really like what I do. In July, I get to go home for a TDY. It is a free trip home. I am taking leave right after that, and I take the ticket that the AF was gonna use to fly me home and move dates on it. So, it truly is a free trip home. So excited. Plus, we pretend we are at war, and get to blow up shit. I am target developer, so I get to tell who and how to blow it up. Cool shit eh? I know. :) Well, I am gonna go eat.
