Homestuck + AU + Right Here + Right Now
HERE IS A PLACE OF NOT REAL CANON PLOT, but kind of, not really.
This is a muse box post thread for a Homestuck AU taking place in the plot if the trolls did in fact get their prize and made/got to rule the world they created. Though it did not exactly happen as they would have suspected. They did get to go to the world they ‘created’, a completely formed fully flushed out world, but they did not get to rule it, and by no means were they sent there alone. Infact, the whole of Alternia as well as Earth completely combined into a larger terrestrial form in an event that would be known as “The Convergence”. This phenomenon caused a change for the lives of the trolls and the humans they had only technically just created.
The 12 trolls and 4 children in question are the only ones that know about “The Convergence”. It is as if it has always been this way to the rest of the trolls and humans on this new planet, still remaining with the name ‘Earth’. And not only that, but they are completely aware of the other timeline where the trolls did not get their final ‘prize’, and thus are aware of the canon movement of the actually story. Each of them are able to watch these events at different points through respective programs.
This new Earth is just as ours is now. Perhaps some variations in wildlife, cultures, architecture, media, things changed here and there, but for all intents and purposes, trolls and humans live together as other races of humans live together today; with some people scorning either side but the majority now used to eachother’s presence. Except for the main 12 and 4, who know that this is not how it always has been.
Weird thing is, a lot of things are different for them, especially the trolls, who now seem to have to get use to the idea of older trolls looking after them, instead of their former custodians. They must get used to this new society on either side.
Time passes and they manage to do so. Getting used to the world’s strange new influences and cultures, and eventually college hits.
Yes, that’s right.
This is that sort of AU.
