touching base, and moving on
it's been 6 years now,
and i think my time is almost..up.
i have not the luxury of youth for much longer.
such is what growing up entails.

with luck i will be away for a year this coming September.
if i want to get there,
there will be much i should prepare for.
i have spent much time aimless and lost.
but i think gradually things have come into focus.
unconsciously, time fades into the distance
no longer minute by minute.
for it goes
too fast
year by year we go now.
and soon thirty beckons
and by then, what distance would I have covered?

will be sending off my boys to their undergraduate studies
a dear friend to eternal bliss with her husband and phd studies in the states..
I can't wait to embark on my own journey too.
But first, i need to get going.
