Just breathe....
We just got back last night from Albuquerque (what a weird flipping spelling), NM. Matt's grandad passed away a week ago and all the family gathered for his funeral. They had a military ceremony, which I had never seen before, and it was awesome. He was a decorated WWII pilot and was part of a team testing the a-bomb in the 50's. Makes me wish I'd heard more of his stories.
We were in San Diego a couple of weekends ago and went to Sea World. We were down there with another family and I also had my niece visiting who's 17, so we were able to leave the kids with her SAt. night and go out. We went to the gaslamp quarter, it was spring break and PACKED. I wished I had stayed at the hotel and relaxed. We went over to Coronado on Sun. morning and spent several hours. I had forgotten how beautiful it was over there. I worked there in the mid 90's and Matt was stationed over there also....I guess you just take things for granted when you see them everyday.
