Threaten her within an inch of her life? I don't know. I'm absolutely sick - I lost my first horse to colic in a barn where they fed "whenever, whatever" so I'm really, really paranoid about feeding. Like, to the minute feed schedules, and tons of research about type and amount and reason. And, poof, it's all out the window because this woman can't take the time to pull her horse out of the pasture and wait for him to eat - so she just feeds them both. Sloth. Sloth will get you killed. UGH.
Like, I totally love my barn. I turned down a barn manager job elsewhere because I didn't want to leave. The owners, their twin daughters, everyone - totally awesome. Good horse sense, fantastic riders (rare combination, in and of itself). But when the yahoos who board out there start thinking they know something, it all goes to hell. Like, when Toga was let out of his pasture, shoo'ed on his way and then chased across the farm by a dog - it was another boarder who thought he'd walk calmly to his stall (and her dog who attacked him). No reason to touch my horse - just wanted to see if he'd go to his stall. Pulled his suspensory, right when we were getting ready to jump (after a year of stall rest for a tear).
Boarders straight suck. :) How about, if you ever move to the south, you can come board with me at my dream farm, huh? :)
