I am so sick of this
Why is it so hard to understand that gay people just want the same rights as straight people? What is the problem here? I don't understand. I honestly think that it's the religious right that holds the gay community back from getting the rights that every "straight" person gets in this country. What is the logic in letting kids go through our corrupt system, rather than letting them get adopted by a loving gay couple? How does that make any sense?
I'm just sick about the way people are distracted by these silly issues in this country. We fight over stupid crap like whether a gay couple should marry and have kids or not, while thousands are homeless and starving. Isn't that whole situation ridiculous? Really?
