I have never been sadder than I have the past six months or so. I always thought Gran would be around to see me get married... to see my kids... to see them grow. I am angry she was robbed of years of her life. I am sad she is not here, and selfishly wish that I could've kept her here longer.
I had to sing this at her funeral, along with Josh, Aunt Cindy, and my cousin Josh. It's been a month since she passed and I still cry when I hear the song, and I try to believe that it's lyrics are true. I really want to believe she is here watching over me, or at the very least... that I can somehow make her amazing spirit live on.

You were my inspiration for how a lady should act, yet you had the innocence and wonder of a small girl. You embodied the word grace.
I love and miss you Gran. You made me a better human being, and continue to influence me to this day.
