Looks like I will be able to get Road Runner after all. I may be landing the title of 'webmaster' for the Florida Dance Masters and that would more than pay for the ridiculous monthly RR fee. Otherwise I'd be getting $10 dial-up. :p
In light of that, I'm considering starting side jobs for real now. I've toyed with the idea of web design for a while. I'm going to start getting my feet wet again and start relearning all that stuff. I think my 'company' name will be Pixel Nation. Because really, isn't that all the internet is?
Rae's awesome. I lover two derf. xo.
So my wife and I (haha, I love that) were wrestling on the living room floor last night, and she's all like, "TAKE IT BACK!" and I'm faking screaming in torment like a psycho, "AHHHHH NEVEEEEER HAHAHAHA!" (Note: fake in torment, for real like a psycho) for about 15 or 20 minutes. No longer than 60 seconds after we stopped, the doorbell rang. I'm thinking Rae came back over or something, but I look out the window and *gasp*... don't recognize the car. So I go, "oh CRAP" and run to the room, put a shirt on and run back to the door. Open it to find one of the community residents 70-year-old Mr. Greenwood standing at the door and he's all cool like, "Happy house warming gift! Remember me?". Aubrey comes over to the door and we all chat for a while. We close the door... look at each other... "How long do you suppose he stood out there?"
"...."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA" We agreed he had a funny look on his face when he politely asked, "How are... things, in the married life? Getting along and all, you know." And he was quick to point out that they didn't have our number to call before they came. Poor guy. At least the Mrs. stayed in the car in the driveway.
Speaking of calling, I'm awaiting my T-Mobile bill. It should set a record for the most I've paid for one month of service from any carrier ever. My current high is two years ago with Verizon I hit $245 when I switched service with them, but they pro-rated this and that and severly screwed me. But last month with the wedding and all, we were out of minutes after two weeks. And that was still a week before the wedding. Normally we're 150 shy of using them up, but last month was quite the exception.
Anyhow, guess I oughta get on with things. Come over and hang out w/us sometime.
But call us first. ;)
