I fear I may have left this too late
Forgive me for not stepping forward sooner. I have been conducting my own investigations, but it seems I will need the crew's cooperation in this matter.
If you notice anything out of the ordinary, anything at all, especially relating to the ship's infrastructure, inform me as soon as possible. Do not discount the significance of the smallest detail, for it is by ignoring those details that we are undone. If you choose to use the network, secure it to the best of your ability, but I would greatly prefer to be told in person.
Hm, where are my manners? I do not believe I have been introduced to most of you. My name is Sherlock Holmes. I am a chemist by trade, but solving mysteries is a hobby of mine. I have some talent in the area of amateur detective work - perhaps some of you are familiar with my articles on the science of deduction and analysis? - and I am a firm believer in putting one's talent to use for the public good. My room is among the other passengers' quarters, and you will find that my door is open to any in need of help.

I understand you have a complete list of the "accident"-caused injuries over the past several weeks. I will come by your office within the next few hours to examine it, if that is no trouble to you.

I have a good idea of the locations of the other acts of sabotage - for it is sabotage - but would prefer to discuss this in person. The network is unreliable. In any case, you will find it far more useful than Mr. Ichimaru's "suggestion list".

[[OOC: You may have seen a well-dressed gentleman poking around. The key word here is "may"; he's reclusive, and what time he has not spent taking his meals (which he doesn't, not as often as he should - he's usually in there to get a piece of bread and tea once every few days, and is off again within minutes - or investigating different parts of the ship is spent in his room. You may have noticed an odd smell coming from his room from time to time, a strong smell of tobacco, or heard the strains of a violin as you passed his door. He has been rather rude if you approached him after the work-related accidents began to happen, and even more sullen after the death. However, he has gone about with a frenzied energy, and any time you've seen him, he's been very preoccupied.]]
