Holiday Break
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year (or soon to be).
Hopefully 2009 is good to everyone!
Christmas went fine. I came home on the 20th and we had Wicked on the 22nd. Wicked, of course, was amazing! Even better the second time! I would love to go again next time they're in town. Then we had preparations for Christmas and we had our annual Christmas Eve party which went well. I didn't get anything too exciting for Christmas but that is to be expected now since we're all in college. Then Rye drove me back tonight, on New Year's Eve, and we're just waiting for the ball to drop.
Basically, I have this coming semester to concentrate on. I have some hard classes coming up this semester and I will be crazy busy. It wouldn't surprise me if I'm not home much. I plan to spend a lot of time at the library (and not just for work). This past semester I got a 4.0 overall so that's pretty sweet, and right now I have a 4.0 in my major and a 3.65 overall. I'm quite excited. But I'm sure this coming semester will fuck with that. Whatever. I need to start studying for the GRE which I plan to take this semester and I need to figure out where I am applying to grad school to. It will depend on a lot of things I'm sure.
I'm not planning on coming home until Spring Break probably, which is March 7. That seems like forever. I am crazy excited about my own apartment in April and that is basically all that is getting me through this semester. That way I will finally be on my own, make my own decisions, Tex can run all over, and I won't have anyone else to answer to. I'm looking forward to it! :)
Anyways, that was a quick update. I probably won't update again for awhile.
