WOW! Twas a blast from the past when I saw Lianee's last LJ update. Even moreso when I saw the one before ... somehoe, even though I didn't take that spanish class (I feel like I did, haha). I've exposed myself to so much Russian. Between watching Russian movies ... and rewatching them ... haha! Yesterday, Deedee came over and we ate. I made ziti with marinara sauce, a really good salad, and my mom brought Perrier (not Pelligrino, which made me sad for a second, but then I realized that French or Italian, sparkling water is pretty much good unconditionally). We mixed the Perrier with POM (pommegranate juice, which would probably be better if it weren't from concentrate, but, eh). I don't think Dee like it THAT much so she switched over to FrutaViva pear juice. Mommy also brought dessert: chocolate and vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and glazed cake. MMMM, an excellent collaboration, I must say. So ya, after dindin, we all sat down to see Lola's surprise: ie. we finished S Dn~om rozhden~e, Lola (Happy Birthday, Lola). It was a good film. I think it was prettier than it was a good story, but, whatev. Just as we were about to start a second movie, the old mobile rings. it's sebby. so we put the movie on hold for him to come over but we don't start the second movie until dana leaves since she had promised her mom some quality time, which was to begin soon (10pm). So Seb chose to see Father and Son: basically, I've seen it like four times now. Twice with subtitles, twice without. It's surprising how much I understand, pretty much everything ... then again, I know what they are saying .. soo .... All in all, its been a great summer. Lots of good stuff going on. My mind is at ease. OH! And Michael Marshall called me today!!!! AHHH! Looks like I'm officially an intern at his firm! Leaving for DC in about a week and a half or two weeks, still not sure. UUber excited I am! Well, gotta get ready to go to PB and J. After we feed the homeless well be feeding ourselves, in accordance with tradition. Tonight, we are going to a new Sushi place.... mmmmm. Can't wait. I have to say, Japanese and Middle Eastern/Mediterranian must be my favorite types of food ... of course, I don't think I've ever had REAL Japanese food, since I have never been to Japan .. ooo, some day. Man! I haven't even been West of the Mason-Dixon! Nor have I been North of NYC or South of Jamaica ... but I don't think that counts, I think It's more accurate to say I've never been south of Key West since i don't really remembe Jamaica. OK, it's settled, from now on, that's how I'll word it. LIANEE, I want one of those posters! Oh, before I go, let me remind myself to write about Octavio Paz and The Ark next time ... not like I'll remember anyway, but only time will tell I guess. See y'all.
