[A voice is heard on the network: strong Mancunian accent, pained moaning]
Nnngh… Feels like someone’s been kicking in my head. Awright, it’s funny, yeah, I get it. [slight laughter, a little bit forced] Dumping me outside the station again. [quietly] Wonder what I did this time…
[The sound of shuffling. Then the sound of breath being let out in a low whistle.]
Must’ve drunk a lot more than I remember. Guess that’s how I know I did.
[Movement. The clatter of the network device hitting the ground. The voice is farther away now.] What? [The voice gets closer] Ooh, that’s nice. Little telly or something? S’got a typewriter on it, though. I dunno. Weird. [There’s a quiet noise, the device being slipped into his jacket pocket, and the voice becomes more muffled.] Oh, blimey, a merry-go-round!
[ooc: And Chris enters the City! Action or anything, really, but note that he will not at all understand the Network Device unless someone comes and directly explains it to him, being as he's from 1973. So any text will be responded to only after that, and any Audio before then will be confused and talking to the device like it's a phone. Oh Chris. So, um, someone to explain it to him would be greatly appreciated. Note to Action-people: he is SUPER seventies. Flared trousers, sweater-vest over shirt and tie, and a blazer that matches none of the above. Feel free to tease him.]
