All those dead people...s'anyone investigatin' that? Don't want nothin' comin' of it again...could be the same organ people, I dunno. Sorry for bein' useless...

I couldn't solve the last case...I didn't stop the same people strikin' again. They're missin' their memories this time too, Beckett! What are we s'posed t'do?! They're attacking coppers, now, we can't let them get away with that!

I know. I feel just as useless as you do, believe me. But if we panic, it's going to make everything worse. There's no legal system in place which makes us essentially vigilantes. If we start acting out of chaos, we're no better than the people who intentionally hurt others.

I lost the trail on an alleyway murder, run of the mill. We all fail sometimes and here it's going to be worse than at home. There's a lot more to deal with, so you need to pull it together. Just do your job -- you're good at talking to people, right? So, talk.
