I know I haven't updated this in a while. Well, I update my regular blog almost every day (www.carenlissner.blogspot.com) and in fact, last week's theme was that I don't know how to handle fruits and vegetables. The photos should prove that.
I am still chopping a lot out of my novel-in-progress, which has been in progress for four years. I want my agent to send it out in September. That's the perfect time for it. It's a fall book.
I tend to sometimes get bored of certain parts and delete them, even though it's possible that a reader will find them interesting. So I don't want to do that anymore. I've paid a few people to read the book and critique it. I'm too close to it to cut responsibly.
