usually shopping is a headache for me, but this year has gotten rediculous. as americans continue to get bigger and fatter, so do clothes. a store i used to could fit a xsmall button down long sleeve top is now too large. and jeans- oh man. i went to the gap- where ive bought jeans the past couple of years has stopped making ankle length jeans in a 0. i guess in all their wisdom they figure that if someone is small enough to fit into a 0 theyre probably TALL. WHAT THE FUCK? who the hell is running things in the fashion world? AMAZONS?
and shoes are a whole 'nother story. i think ive been to 25+ stores that sell shoes in the past week, and out of all of those i found one pair of shoes to fit. and i didnt even like them! but i bought them anyway cause i figured if thats all i can find anymore i might as well get something!
ive gotten used to altering most of my clothes, but theres nothing i can do about the shoes. most stores dont even CARRY anything under a size 6. maybe they figured small people dont wear shoes? or at least fashionable ones? WERE NOT GODDAMNED HOBBITS- I DO NOT HAVE HAIRY FEET AND I DO LIKE TO HAVE SHOES!
