Number 1
Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 15 songs that play. (I did twenty and a little more than just the first line, because like I said, I'm really bored.)
Step 3: Let everyone guess what song (and artist!) the lines come from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
1. Simmer down, my head is too hot so, Simmer down, he's gonna get dropped so, Simmer down, man, here's what I say, Simmer down, now I've got to got to simmer down.
2. Where I come from isn't all that great, my automobile is a piece of crap, my fashion sense is a little whack, and my friends are just as cool as me.
3. He shouted out his last word, and he stumbled through the yard. And she shattered her last china plate, and spun off in the car.
4. Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far. You're gonna fly high, you're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try; they're gonna love you.
5. And then I start some lyrics and you can't believe I'm singing. And I'm never fucking stopping and I'm always fucking singing. Now you know that I will never stop the fucking singing. I'm like a
fucking one man band, I'm like a fucking one man band.
6. Guyute was the ugly pig, who walked on me and danced a jig. That he had learned when he was six, then stopped and did some other tricks. Like pulling weapons from his coat, and holding them
against my throat. He lectured in in language stange, and scampered quickly out of range.
7. Well, I see you up on stage and I don't know just what you're sayin' but you're my hero, woah-oh-oh. And a guy just kicked me in the head, a little girl just passed out dead, I'm in between a big jock and a sweaty skinhead, but I love you..whatever that means.
8. Forgot how come every wrong's been done, with deals no Christ should allow. Once the communist, now the terrorist with blood as thick as yours. Now a caravan of clouds warns us all of winter showers, then a rattle, comes a rain with each bullet screams your name.
9. Oh, baby, it's cryin' time. Oh, baby, I got to fly. Got to try to find a way, got to try to get away, 'cause you know I gotta get away from you, babe. oh, baby, the rivers red. Oh, baby, in my head. There's a funny feelin' goin' on, I don't think I can hold out long.
10. Wake up dreamer, it's happening without you. Cut you hair and shave your beard, you squandered your chances. I'll give you a thousand pounds to show me how you do it. Stop being so laissez-faire, we're all scared of the future.
11. Sometimes, sometimes you've got to be the punch line. Well and sometimes, sometimes you get to tell the joke. There's no difference on the end that you end up on. I've got a preference, I'll defend right, right over wrong.
12. Point the blame. Picture frame. Playing by the rules that's why you're losing the game. I think I heard it through the walls in the bathroom stalls, or maybe in my yester-years hanging out in the halls. We've got the rhythm wrong. It sounds just like a Phish song, "Please her with a tweezer, I'll stick it in the freezer."
13. Here some old flattop, he come grooving up slowly. He got joo-joo eyeball, he one holy roller. He got hair down to his knee. Got to be a joker, he just do what he please.
14. Manic depression is touching my soul. I know what I wasnt but I just don't know how to go about gettin' it. Feeling sweet feeling. Drops from my fingers, fingers. Manic Depression is catchin' my soul.
15. I've got a gun in my hand, but the gun won't cock. My finger's on the trigger but that trigger seems locked. I can't stop starin' at the tick tock clock, and even if I could I would never give up. With a vest on my chest,a bullet in my lung, I can't believe I'm dying with my song unsung. And if and when I die won't you bury me alone 'cause I'll never get to heaven if I'm singing this song.
16. Once again I wake up alone on the wrong side of my bed, once again you begin your dancing nakedly on the right side of my head. For a lack of better words that I can hardly speak my soul. And I'm feeling what I'm feeling what I'm feeling when it's time to lose control, my love.
17. Tessie is the Royal Rooters rally cry, Tessie is the tune they always sung. Tessie echoed April trhough October nights, after serenading Stahl, Dinneen and Young. Tessie is a maiden with a sparkling eye, Tessie is a maiden with a love. And sometimes when the game is on the line, Tessie always carried them away.
18. As one sits and waits, for something to happen. I too sat and waited for you to call. Well, I waited too long and thought Hey, maybe I should call you. But by then you had already gone.
19. I wanna make you know I can do everything, but I don't ever show you how I really am. I wish I could say I have no regrets, I wanted too much from you. I don't wanna be this way. I kick myself, I wish I could say that I have no regrets today.
20. Doted like seeds, planted in rows. The untied shoelaces of your life. Nutured all year then pressed in a book, or displayed in bad taste at the table. Problems arise and you ran the fire, while there's a wild pack of dogs loose in your house tonight. cut from bad cloth, or soiled like socks. Add it up and basically people never change.

24. Your Funeral: Rare Ould Times - Flogging Molly
25. The ending scene/credit title: Revolution -Reel Big Fish
As you can see, I didn't have much of a varity because of the playlist I was listening to. (And if you think I'm looking through three thousand songs, picking out twenty five and calling it a day, you're fucking crazy.)
Blah. So, I guess I'm finally updating. I honestly don't know why I keep a journal anymore. I guess it's just more of a "it's there when I need it" kind of thing. Even though I don't use it when I do need it? I don't know. Anyway.
I've been working on those fuckin' surveys for a really long time. So, I guess. If you actually did read them. Bye. And if you didn't and you just felt like reading the last few sentances...sup?
