Consequences
Oh God, how the hell did I think coming into work in this condition was a good idea?! I feel AWFUL and I'm going back and forth to the loo every 20 minutes or so to lean over the bowl with my mouth agape.
Still, as always, it is my own fault. I have always looked at hangovers as the inevitable penalty that one pays for having a bit too much fun. It's surprising how often arrangements like that crop up in life: the consequences of overdoing it. The only other one that springs to mind is sunburn, but I'm sure I've seen some that I can't remember. Anyone?
