For a long time, I had an ExxJ who made random observations about the state of the world. Something was going through her head, and it passed the basic output filter, and so like any good extrovert she said it. Usually it wasn't important for me to act on it: if she needed something, she'd ask directly. Sometimes habit makes it easy to forget that my IxxP has very different ways of communicating.
So note to self: Pay more attention to what goes unsaid, recognize that if something makes it to the vocal world then it's already been tossed around a bit, and consider the possibility that help may be appreciated even if it's not directly requested.
