Vampire: the Masquerade

...so I'm looking at old Vampire books in preparation for running a game. It's been a *long* time since I've done anything *close* to GMing, so I'm taking it easy a little by leaning heavily on one of the old published city books for the setting. I just need to decide which one. The setting in Milwaukee actually seems really good, but it's got some major problems -- namely, the book's writing is mediocre and downright confusing in some places, and many of the NPCs are overpowered for their ages IMNSHO. DC is tempting, but I'm not sure how my group of players would react to that level of politics. Berlin sounds interesting, but part of me is nervous that the culture will be a little too alien. LA is also tempting, but my gut feel is that I should get used to running a decent Camarilla-based game before breaking off into the politics of other factions -- Anarchs in this case.

Decisions, decisions.
