justben: There should so be a markup language to describe facial expressions.
riff_77: iggle yah
justben: I wonder if I could work up an XML schema...
riff_77: hahah that would be cool
justben: raisedsticking outpursed
riff_77: iggle
riff_77: not sure how to place that all on a face
justben: It works best if the eyebrows are on top, the eyes (implicit) are below them, the nose (implicit) is below that, and the lips on the bottom. The tongue is generally between the lips.
justben: Unless you're Picasso. That would probably warrant a separate schema, though.
justben: Actually, no.
riff_77: hmmm thanks i think i would have had a hard time with out your help
riff_77: iggle
riff_77: =P
justben: There should be a stylesheet that maps nodes onto a face. The standard one would be as I described above. Picasso would just use an alternate stylesheet.
justben: In fact, the stylesheets should probably be stacking and configurable, so individual people can have their own face stylesheets that import the global standard definition and then just tweak them for particular measurements.
riff_77: iggle
riff_77: i will have to work on that
justben: *noddle*
