Much book goodness
Visited Borders today. Found that the one down in town across from City Hall East has a really good selection of classics and language texts. Definitely going to have to make it back there sometime. Picked up:
* The Greeks and the Irrational, by E. R. Dodds
* Greek Lyric I: Sappho and Alcaeus (LCL#142)
* Greek Mathematical Works: Thales to Euclid (LCL#335)
And then, upon arriving home, what did I find in my mailbox but L'Aphrodite Grecque! C'est arrivé!!
Much, much droolness. It's no wonder I can't seem to sleep well tonight.
Oh, and to the person I promised an answer to a complex question earlier this week, expect that answer soon. I've been meaning to type it up here and just haven't managed to make the time.
