11. Day trip
It was a quaint little country town they decided to stop at on their trip home to Lima. They walked hand-in-hand with their fingers linked, and Blaine’s thumb brushed affectionately over the back of Kurt’s thumb as they browsed through the array of eccentric little boutique shops.
They paused in front of a jewellery store and there was a faintly awkward moment when they discovered they were both gazing at a display of engagement rings. After a moment they shared matching glances, both biting on their lips, and they knew a thrill of future mutual hope just passed between them.
