it's been awhile, i know
so yea, i know it's been awhile since i wrote in my livejournal but nothing too amazingly interesting has been going on...last weeekend ( not the one that just passed..the one before that) I went home to see my little brother graduate from high school. It is soo crazy how big my little brother is getting! I can't believe it. Of course with the talk of graduating my family kept bringing up how i will be graduating a year from this august and it's just scary. You know, when you graduate high school, it's scary and exciting cuz everyone is thinking, yeah college, party time! But when you graduate college you are thinking, ok time to grow up for real, become an adult, have a career...ahh!
but anyways, enough of that talk..don't wanna think about it. So this week got busier then usual. I have two papers due this week..well i turned in one yesterday and i have one due on friday. The one on tuesday was only 2-3 pages long and was an interesting subject so i didn't mind writing it. The one due on friday, however, is gonna take some effort. A three to five page paper where you take one of our readings ( which of course i haven't kept up with) and compare it to one piece of modern art we have talked about in class..eek. It's funny how it's been so long since i have had to write papers. One good thing about interior design as a major although the stress kinda outweights that plus. Anywho, so i'm up to that for the rest of the week and on monday we are having our second mod art test. I got a 97 on my last one (woohoo..i was a little worried actually) so if i study just as hard i should be ok..that means flash cards all weekend. I already started making some.
on another note, my friend stephen who is a computer science major, helped me find a dell for $1500 when the ones i was looking at that had all the stuff i needed came out to about $3500. So i ordered it last friday and i should be getting it this friday( it is in transit right now)! I'm so excited..i can't wait to play with it. I will have to restrain myself a little since i do have a test to study for all weekend..but first thing is first..gotta go eat some breakfast and get to class! Hope everyone is having a good summer! and what's up with all this rain? When is the sunshine gonna come back again =(?
