(no subject)
My stays are coming along, I guess. I'm not certain that they will fit properly, but there's not much I can do about it now. They feel like a bullet-proof vest!
I got the eyelets roughed in one one side, on the other I just pinned my test strip. Unfortunately the shoestring wasn't long enough to fully lace them. Is there supposed to be a hollow space beneath the breasts? I guess there would have to be, but it seems a little weird. I may have made the front too low-cut and too wide, but I know that proper posture means my shoulders should be back anyway so it may not be too wide. I haven't trimmed off any of the excess fabric yet, just in case. (I made up my pattern, so I may not have done a good job.)
In your expert opinions, what do you all think about the silhouette?
