You have two people playing against each other, and each person picks--secretly!--one of three things: a rock, a piece of paper, or a pair of scissors. That's the thing they're going to show the other person--with their fingers~ There are hand signs for each thing, and certain things win against the other things~ There's a fist for rock, two fingers for the scissors, and your whole hand for paper--they look like the things~!!
So~ The two people chant together for a second and at the end of the rhyme, they both show with their fingers which thing they chose. And the winner is the person whose thing is stronger ♥!
The piece of paper beats the rock because it can cover it. But the scissors beat the piece of paper because they can cut it. But the rock beats the scissors because it can crush them.
The winner is the person whose thing wins~
That was a really long explanation...but...does it make sense~?
