bad news
So I found out a few weeks ago that my sister-in-law has breast cancer. They thought they'd found it early and she underwent a full mastectomy. They thought they'd got it all and were waiting for the biopsy results. Turns out it was two major tumours as well as multiple spider tumours which have spread to her lymph glands and possible elsewhere. She has a bad infection at the moment and therefor they're unable to undergo further tests with her where every day is fairly critical. Basically the odds for her long term survival are very slim and even short term isn't looking good.
My brother has been with her for as long as i can remember, since i was about 5 or 6 i guess and she's an amazing, kind person. It's really knocked me for 6 how much this has hit me.
I feel so much pain for her and for my brother and their two sons, the oldest of whom has just started high school this year.
Anyway just felt like venting....sorry to get all serious on you livejournal....will be back to nonsense and shennanigans in the future.
Oh also it's my birthday this weekend. My phone is disconnected but anyone who wants to come get pissed with me drop me a comment or something and we'll make plans.......so far the only plan is to get fucked up on absynthe!
