I like beards but not on myself, personally.  A Brooks is always clean shaven, etc., etc.

Though it was rather hilarious to see ladies running around in full mane.  If this is October winding down, then I'm quite happy with it.  Hairy faces over cannibals every time.

You know, one of the nice things about being here is that I can shift whenever I feel like it without worrying who'll see or what I might be endangering.

Overall? Really good. Surprisingly good.

With moments of overwhelming homesickness and abject terror.

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and I think I'll never get home, I'll be trapped here forever and everyone I care about here will go home and... Yeah.

Or one of the curses hits - me or someone else - and it's terrifying. What I could become, what others become, the aftermath.

Stuff like that.

Everyone goes home eventually. Even if it's only for a little while.

You just need to keep on living.
