Nov.19 at the Borgota
This was my second time seeing Ashlee. I saw her at the electirc factory on sept.30.
Me and my friends got to the borgota around 4:15 and go to where the concerts are and there's a security guy and he's saying we can't line up till 7 and we couldn't hoover around the area. We decided to hang out for a few minutes and they were making everyone leave. So after a lot of debating we decided to eat right next to where we had to line up.
Well, around 6 we get done eating and go out and there are people going up the escalader so I go up to security and I ask him whats going on and he said people are lining up upstairs. And I told him he said they weren't allowed to 7 and he said they changed their minds!!! WTF! I was so mad. So we run upstairs and there is this long ass line and I start freaking out. We got to the back of the line and right after us the line starts going into a U shape and wraps around so two lines are next to each other. I kept telling a security guy that the lines were going to try and merge together and not follow the U shape and then we were going to get screwed and be last because we were the middle of the U. He SAID they had this under control though.
7 rolls around and they open the doors and everyone RUNS into a big blob and we get stuck in the back of the line. At this point I start to cry. I don't care, I'll admit it. I love Ashlee and it wasn't fair what happened. So I'm freaking out and everyone is freaking out because it was bullshit. We get in and get a DECENT spot on the right side of the stage behind the handicap section almost right near the separation bar behind the handicap area. We could see pretty weel but it's not where we wanted or could of been. It's all the borgota's fault and I wrote them an angry email.
The concert itself was great. The first opening band was october fall and they were good but too loud and I got annoyed. Barefoot came on and were AWESOME. they played a U2 song and even though I hate U2 it was still good.
FINALLY Ashlee came on and I forgot everything because she's the best. She came on with I Am Me. and we all started freaking out and singing. At least she wasn't wearing the same thing she wore at the other pre-tour. She played a few more songs that the last show I was at and played Shadow which she didn't at the last show I was at on Sept. 30. She also played L.O.V.E which was awesome. Her encore was Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend. She was amazing. They put on a good show and I was finally happy.
But still. To this day I'm very mad about how the borgota handled this.
