Better now, that's for sure. Although it seems to get through no matter what happens. Maybe it's our destiny.

I thought it was rather... mild, considering the month we just had. I mean... for an afterlife? If you don't consider the Barge one?

I'm alive back home, so it may be a point of differing context. I'm not used to noticing being dead and it bothered me. [He considers, wondering if that really explains it.]

It's strange, because while I acknowledge I'm dead and you're not, and still here we are, talking and breathing the same. But...what dying feels like, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I've undergone the death toll twice now, not loved either time. But it must be different, having died outside. Does it bother you?

Not really... No real pain. [ But he instinctively rubs the side of his neck with a hand, and he smiles awkwardly. ]

I can't compare, since I haven't... died, here, I suppose.
