Vacation
This is my school's winter break week and I have decided to get all the things that need getting done done.
First I had some fun with Ray. We went to a fancy french diner and ate fancy french food like crepes and roast duck. I want to go back and try some of their a la orangè.(I'm proud of myself for finding the key which does that) Sunday involved the historical amazement which is Salem Mass. (courtesy of L and M) We saw wax thing and that, ate some food, laughed at the devil. We all climbed a secret stairway in an old house from a book someone wrote. Then I got candy. Ray and I attempted to go bowling afterward with no luck. Then a movie, also no luck. Then we (mostly me) sunk into a minor depression over the matter and final came out of it for a good game of scrabble.
I started over the weekend with cleaning but am really getting into full swing today.
I have mop and dusted almost everything, organized my books shelves, dvds, closet with clothing, closet with storage stuff. I have measured the spices in hopes of buying a spice rack. I am going to clean the tub once the bathroom floor drys. I have a Bjs, target, supermarket trip planned for about noon. I have found a new 'mall' area 20 minutes away, if this shopping adventure goes as planned.. this will be the closest mall, bjs, and target to my house. Crossing fingers now.
The town it's in is spelled Leominster but is said Lemon-ster... which has led me to spelling arguments with coworkers over the 'LEO' silent O phenomenon.
Well, thats the days plan. Clean, Shop, Put away, clean.
