Projects.
Despite my lack of posting here, I'm working on a couple of other things around the internet. So, I thought I'd give y'all a few links in case you were interested in my other projects.
First, I've become a regular columnist on Thursdays on the Ignite Rockford blog. Ignite is a Young Professionals group that I've joined, and I write a social media column, Trending Topics. You can read my entries at that link. Please leave a comment if you feel inclined!
Second, I've started reviewing places on Yelp. You can find my reviews at anthea.yelp.com. I went to Hot Doug's as I said I might in my last entry, and it was awesome. I reviewed it on Yelp. Check it out. :)
I also had the honor of accompanying my friend Tony to a Yelp "Elite" (people who are very active on the site) party a couple weeks ago. Basically, it was an entire evening of free food, drinks, entertainment, and dancing at a swanky tapas place. New goal? Become Yelp Elite! :D Apparently, they do that sort of thing regularly. Fun!
Otherwise, I'm well. I'm starting to feel the stress of the upcoming season already, but I've had the joy of a lot of time spent with friends to help keep that down. The last three weekends, I had [different] friends up from Dallas, which was wonderful and also kind of heart-squeezing. I miss Dallas and my life there.
