Personality: Just a little initial note - because I have absolutely no idea how Bridget would adapt to this environment, a few aspects of his personality may very well be subject to change.

Bridget comes right off as exactly what he is - a kind, friendly, naive, helpful and trusting kid who, despite being painfully clueless at times, can also show a considerably high level of maturity that, perhaps, wouldn't be expected from a boy with his age.

Bridget will present himself as a cheerful, extroverted, curious and impressionable young boy who loves to meet new people and values the needs and wellbeing of others, whomever they may be. It's very easy for him to trust a person, especially if they give back the same kindness that he tries to offer them. This may make it extremely easy to trick him and has gotten him in trouble numerous times before, and though he seems to be incapable of recognizing deceit in a person's words, if you fool him once, he'll make sure he's careful enough not to let you fool him twice. Still, he's a humble kid and ultimately believes that there is some good in every person's heart.

Seeing that Bridget has such a high preoccupation with the happiness of those around him, he will be the first to give his hand or lend an ear whenever he finds that someone - be it a friend or stranger - is in need, either because they're in trouble or just because they're feeling particularly down.

Despite the nature of his workplace, it's very easy to shock or embarrass this kid with most topics regarding a sexual theme. He will blush, lower his head, stutter and try to change the subject, feeling uneasy and/or self-conscious about the fact that he seems to be the only person who gets this reaction from the mere mention of sex. He hates to walk into awkward situations or invading other people's personal spaces and/or moments. He's just a little too respectful and still tries to somewhat hold on to the morals that his parents gave him during his education. He simply -cannot- swear, flirt, talk about sex, take the initiative to act violent or take part in any... illicit situations.

He would hate to offend, disturb or hurt a person, and if such happened he would go out of his way to apologize and try and make up for it. He can't stand not being in good terms with a person he likes and/or barely even knows.

One of the other things that strike a nerve on Bridget is getting mistaken by a girl. He will be extremely embarrassed and just as flustered as he would be at the mention of the topics above, the difference being that he will actually take an offense in this. Even if he reacts immediately by making sure the other person realizes he is a boy, he will also feel a little upset and disappointed with himself.

Finally, Bridget is accompanied practically everywhere by Roger, a teddy bear with artificial intelligence designed to protect the young boy at all times, be it from people who may want to attack him from others who may just want to get a reaction out of him. Still, Bridget believes he is finally on his own, working on his personal growth and learning to face the world by himself. He's just thankful he has his best friend with him during this journey.

Appearance: Bridget is relatively tall for his age, lean, has blond hair and aqua green eyes. He has slim arms and long legs, a round and young face, large eyes and round lips. Summing it up, he has an extremely androgynous appearance and carries himself in an effeminate way.

His hair has medium length for a boy, short fringe just above his eyes and two longer bangs, one on each side of his face that goes down to his neck. He has a liking for slightly girly clothes, though he won't wear actual dresses or skirts. Anything else, from patterns to feminine cuts and shorts and platforms are go. He doesn't like it when people point out to him that it's girly, though, and will try to make his case.

History: Bridget was born one of two twin boys in a small village situated in England. Despite having rich and educated parents, the rest of the population in that small location had long lived under the superstition that twins of the same gender were a very bad omen. To avoid discrimination towards their children, Bridget's parents raised him as a girl, while his brother got a boy-oriented education. Always aware of his situation, Bridget tried his best to hide his gender, as well, but always felt something was incredibly wrong and unfair about this supposed curse.

Still, he had a happy childhood, with everything he wanted and anything he'd ever need. From toys to clothes and games, among other spoils, Bridget was raised to be educated, proper, respectful and kind to others - the philosophy his parents had towards the village of people that perhaps wouldn't be so kind to them otherwise, seeing that jealousy of those richer than you is all too common, no matter where you live. This didn't mean he wasn't taught to defend himself, though. He was given lessons on hand-to-hand combat and in handling several weapons, though his preference was for unconventional weapons - namely yo-yos. Nobody could really understand why or how he managed to pick these toys up and make a proper weapon out of them, but it seemed to stick and eventually became some sort of trademark.

The boy never felt quite satisfied with the course his life was taking. It wasn't anything material, he had more than enough in that aspect - he just... felt a need to go out, see the world out there. He had heard that not everybody in the world viewed twin boys as a curse, so perhaps in the land out there, he'd be able to turn into a -real- man, something that had slowly become his dream. He always imagined that, if he was able to prove that twins of the same gender weren't a sign of bad luck, that he would be able to come back one day and be accepted for who he was.

So he packed his stuff and got on his way with his parents' blessing. He would find a job, he decided, traveling from place to place, finding new things, meeting new people and trying to prove himself as- well, a real man! He would send money back home and to the village, as a way to symbolically bring them prosperity and fortune as a bounty hunter, at first, asking around for bounty lists and chasing down easier criminals alongside his teddy bear Roger. If initially this felt like a thrilling and challenging lifestyle, it later proved to be perhaps a bit exhausting to the blond kid that carried himself in an outfit a little too inappropriate for his gender and confronted his opponents with a kind voice and polite words, obviously to no avail.

He then contacted his parents to inform them that he would start taking steadier jobs, deciding he would stay a few months in a country or other until he grew weary or found somewhere else he could go to. This obviously had nothing to do with the occupation he had left behind, but it was a little more relaxing and he could actually sit and create real relationships while staying away from danger.

One day, working at a flower shop in a city not too far away from Paris, he received a letter from a (very rich) French family that was friends with his parents and had a daughter working in the capital with what they called 'a charming job that pays very well'. Bridget showed interest, obviously, since not only had he been very curious to visit the city, but he also felt excited about seeing one of his childhood friends again.

When he arrived, he met with said daughter of the family, who seemed to be a little reluctant about his visit and supposed job proposal. Bridget couldn't tell a thing, limiting himself to being kind and not asking questions, since he didn't want to seem like he was being ungrateful or distrustful. All he knew about the job was that he would be working in some sort of Hotel, helping clean up the rooms, bringing in roomservice, etc. That seemed a pretty harmless job, despite the girl's repeated questions about his age and the sort. Truth was things were starting to sound a little strange to him... but still, he wouldn't ask questions.

It was only when he first stepped foot into the supposed 'Hotel' that everything became clear - and was explained - to him: The girl had been lying all along to her parents about her job. In reality, she worked as an assistant at the whorehouse known as 'Moulin Noir', where Bridget had just been employed.

Bridget's first thought? To get the hell out of there, of course. Never in a million years would he have even thought of getting employed in a place like this! But still, and after all the trouble the girl claimed she had gone through to getting him this job, he didn't want to be rude. So he decided he would stay for a while, even if just to give a chance. Later on he could tell his friend that he had decided it was time to move on to another city.

Until then? Bridget would become an assistant at the 'Moulin Noir'.
