(no subject)
Hey everyone, I've decided to update my livejournal because I haven't in forever and a day. So I am giving you a fair warning ahead of time that this is going to be insanely long.
Things are going great. I have to actually try to remember what I've done the past couple of weekends...I have a lot to update on since it's been over a month! A couple of weekends ago I had the May dance which was really cool, the guys didn't go with us since they had 'other stuff to do'. So a bunch of the gals and I got ready together, did our traditional pre-party preparations then went. It was hilarious there, it was in this huge club and there were tons of people. Lots of very humorous events took place in the course of that evening, then around 4 we took a cab to Laura's and spent the night there. Then really early the next morning (I almost died when I looked at the time) I had to drive with my host family to a confirmation of my host mom's godchild, but the weather was so beautiful so it wasn't that much of a drag, it hit 90°, crazy no? Oh I forgot, before I left for the confirmation there was a huge (7 meter) tree in front of my window (since it's the first of may) I got a huge decorated (red-white-and blue colored) tree. I have nooo idea who put it there ;-).
Hm then the weekend after that we got a 4-day weekend. On the first day I went to a bbq with my host family, which was nice, I met a girl that's an exchange student from Mexico and she was really cool. Then at night I went to Anna's and Pia, Imke, Laura Anna and I had a chocolate fondu with strawberries and every other fruit possible, but us being the geniouses that we are, burnt the chocolate so we had to eat the fruit plain, it was still good though. Then the next day I went into the city with Johanna, Felix, Anna, Marcel, and a couple other people from our class, all the bars were pretty full (even the gay bar!) so I just went back to Niklas' house with him and played some pool. Then on Saturday we all went to the Aula Kavalina for a huge party. It was awesome, it was a special occassion so all drinks were only 1€. I just danced the whole night there it was so great but the next day I could barely walk on my feet.
Then this past weekend was really cool, too. We had another 4-day weekend (sometimes I think the Germans make up these little holidays..because there are so many). On Saturday I went with Niklas into the Therma (its this huge room with heated pools/jaquzzis all over the place and saunas) that was incredibly relaxing, we stayed there until I wrinkled up like a prune. Then I went back to his house and just layed around the entire night, it was great. Then on Sunday my host brother had his birthday so we had the whole family over for that..lets just say it was a loooong day. Then at night Simon, Felix, Christof and I went to my friend Basti's party. It was crazy..absolutely crazy, around 1 in the morning I went downstairs to make everyone ravioli..and well if you know how I eat you can believe that I got it everywhere, on everyone's clothes, the floor, the ceiling, the cabinets..ah just a hilarious night. They had stuff at this party that I never even knew existed, anyways I went home pretty late and just passed out in my warm bed. On the next day I went running then to Niklas' house and we watched Gothika (that's the german spelling I think it may be Gothica in english???) then we went to a bom fire at my friend Jojo's, it was really cool there, it reminded me of summer because the weather was so pretty and just the way we were all hanging around..wow I can't wait for summer to begin!! Then on Tuesday, I went running and swimming then at night Niklas came over and I made him watch Sex and the City/Desperate housewives with me, he loves it..not. oh well I make him watch it none the less.
Then this past week has just consisted of running, school, tanning, homework, swimming, eating, gymnastics, dance class, and now it's friday and the weekend begins!!! :-DD
Yesterday niklas and I hit the 7 month mark, he just came over and kept me company. I am incredibly excited because on June 15th I get to go to Berlin with the other exchagne students, it's going to be really nice seeing them all. I'm also looking forward to the shopping in Berlin :-D..ive turned into a shopaholic, no joke. I've still been training for this mini triathalon race that I have next month, I'm sooo nervous, wish me luck.
Today is Friday, I just woke up a bit ago despite the fact that its 10:43 in the morning here, but I dont have school until 11:50 then only two classes, hooray!! Wow I'm such a dork and now I really must go and shower, talk to y'all soon!
