There was a story on NPR about an activist asking a candidate during a Q&A "Do Black lives matter or do all lives matter?" and NPR failed to include the candidate's answer. As it was radio, I can't blame them for being unable to flash a picture of the inevitable deer in the headlights expression, but I at least would have liked to have heard the person answer.
Proposed lurkr answer: Black lives matter. No other group in this country legally has more room to doubt their lives matter than people of the color black.
Well, okay, maybe Muslims are right up there. The worst institutional issues are, I maintain, around African Americans.
