Everyone was born with the color scheme God, Mother Nature, evolution or the Lords of the Infinite Jest gave them. While I have no objection to altering that scheme in different ways (such as hair color) I really totally feel that if you want to fool anyone into thinking it's natural, no color should go onto you hair that hasn't been there like, for realz dude, at some point in your life, or the rest of your coloration will give the game away every. Damn. TIME.
That said, if you were never blonde and want to go blonde...really commit. Base color, lowlights, highlights, the works. Bright blonde streaks in hair that was obviously never tow-headed in its life is just...urgh.
And the cheap perm on what was clearly once a glorious fall of thick brown hair? OMIGOD. There are people (not all of them women) who would kill or die for a glorious fall of thick any color at all! And this chick cut it off, thinned it and permed it! (I know from badly thinned hair; I now pay to get it well-thinned and wouldn't perm it if you payed me.)
All right, Rodney and Veronica are giving me the "leave cattiness to the professionals, puny human; and also get a better brand of gooshy food," look, so I'll step off the soapbox now.
