the hills are a live with the sound of....fire..
Santa Barbara is once again on fire. The flames are over taking the back hills and destroying multi million dollar homes. Casey Lux and I have been at my Mom's house, the police were driving up and down the streets evacuating people. We had to make sure that they had everything, including animals. Once we leave, there's no going back. The fires around here are too close together after november's tea fire and the fire in goleta but during that time there were fires all along the coast going south toward LA.
On top of it all it is very hot, I was topless for the most of the day with an ice pack on my head. This morning before the fire got worse Lux was in school and Casey and I had a nice breakfast at Mesa Cafe, a cool hang out for your local hung over and such. I must get Lux to bed early because last night we went to Casey's friend's house for a little bday party and she, once again, didn't get to bed until after 10. late to school. we all slept in. I'm exhausted. I really want to make time for the gym, I must make time for the gym. So let's pray that the winds die down and that the fire becomes contained.
