So i'm at work today and a lady comes in to pick up some ice cream for a fundraiser for her little daughter with a disease.
Awwe cute right?? My boss is a nice enough guy to donate to a worthy cause.
Yeah that's what i thought until i figured out it was a fundraiser for DIABEIES.
Keep in mind I lost one of my best friends to this disease a year and a half ago.
Not only that but I've seen the ambulences at this girls house more than one time cuz her sugar levels were going haywire.
So what possesed this mother to get ice cream of all things to bring to a diabetes fundaraiser may you ask?
You got me.
Lets teach your daughter a few more bad habits that could cost her her life.
Sorry that really pissed me off and i NEEDED to vent a bit. Some things hit just a little too close to home.
