RAINBOW, RAINBOW, RAINBOW
This weekend was the rainbow conference and it was amazing. Over 2000 people all coming together to celebrate their faith is so incredible and moving.
I can't even explain the feeling I got when the speaker was in the middle of a really intense prayer. He asked everyone to bow their heads, close their eyes, and lift their arms. I opened my eyes during it and scanned the room. It was so amazing to just see 2000 people listening, believing and participating. Man, I wish I could explain it better.
And I love father Steve. I hope he stays with our church for a long time. He is such a wonderful person and he is so involved with our youth group. It's really cool to me that he makes an attempt to get to know all of us, and he knows (or is learning) our names. What a great guy.
I'm also really glad I got to know Sarah better. She's great and I hope we end up being really good friends.
I am excited for a new semester.
