without passion, we'd be truly dead

Hey, so I know I haven't updated in ages it seems like. And last year, I know that I had nothing in a winter break post so here's a short paragraph describing the last couple weeks of 2006.

Fondue night, Cheesecake Factory, good food at the Station in Mountain Lakes, hanging with friends, dinner made by Bobby, hunting down anchovy stuffed olives, Christmas with the sister and Tim, Christmas Eve with the "a little bit of luxury" themed presents, Season 2 of Buffy (hello, on episode 17 already), Clueless, Christmas Mornign, an amazing MP3 player and accessories, a ballwinder and swift (all you non knitters are forgiven if you don't know what that is), the Pursuit of Happyness, 7 people in a minivan to Ohio, chilling with the cousin and the best god mother, Little Miss Sunshine and 10 Things I Hate About You, watching Step Up, Scheper family party, an awesome puffer vest, a less awesome zip up gray thing, a jello shot, driving to Tiffin, Bead for Life Necklace (pretty!) and awesome travelouge book, a Swahili book/CD course, a pretty clutch, less pretty necklaces, New Years Eve in Ohio (meh), watching the last scene of LIttle Miss Sunshine with Beth and Christian New Year's Eve Night, driving back, We are Marshall with Katie and 2007 is 3 days in.

I'm really bad with resoltuions. At least, I'm bad with resolutions that involve the words never and always or certain times a day or week. So among the list of things I want to work on is being positive and trying my hardest to seize the day and make every day worth something. Also, another thing that I really want to work on is taking caring of myself. Over Christmas, I saw my sister and she looked great (you did, Beth!). She explained how her hair cut or a new bag prompted her to pay more attention to her appearance. And that's what I want to work on. I bought the soap and toner she had at her house that made my face feel great cause I rarely wash my face. I'm going to schedule an appointment to get the hair done. I'm going to do a bit of abs and maybe a bike ride her and there in the next 12 days but I want to do plan in more exercising at school. All those will make me feel better. Losing weight might be the final result but really I just want to be fitter. I'm goign to follow the workout Meg made for me because I want to be able to handle all the walking etc in Africa. So taking care of myself is top priority in 2007. Physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. Bring on 2007.

2007, school, winter break
