Can't say I expected the snow to last a week, never mind more than one. Not that I'm complaining, but with the way the rest of the weather was acting since we got a few days of darkness, I was thinking all of this would be really short-term.

Anyone wanna see about organizing another big snowball fight while we've still got snow on the ground?

Normally I wouldn't go around him like that, but afterward he asked me what my birthday was and read my mind to get the answer when I wouldn't tell him.
