I keep hearing something mentioned about a police force here in this town. Not trying to be rude, but how exactly do you people do your jobs? It seems like it'd be hard to enforce any sort of law in this place, unless you've got all the big guns on your side.

I, by no means, am planning on joining. My physical limitations make that sort of move complicated.

However, I do question the effectiveness of it.

The effectiveness is what I'm worrying about. It just seems like it'd be borderline impossible to keep any kind of stable organization in place with the way the city is.

Personally, I do not think that this place has anything to do with that. Rather, the people within are the real issue. A place is merely a location and conditions that arise can simply be cleared through resourceful means...

However... People are entirely different. They clash more so than the environment around them does. Far too often it is because morals and desires do not line up harmoniously that problems and issues arise.

That's true of any place, though. My home is pretty peaceful but even then people get annoyed with the police or protest some of the government's decisions.
