It's no problem.

You can get food from the stores on the east side of town, but the further you go the more monsters there are, and the more dangerous it gets. From what I hear, a safer place to get food is at the Northern Lights bar, or the high school.

Small meals might be hard to manage here, but I'm used to eating on the run. If you could even do something as simple as teach me how to make canned food a little less bland, I think that'd be an even trade for a few cans every time I head out.
