One of my favorite coworkers got put on probation today.
Like every job, we have all these stupid numbers to meet. One of them is to meet with 48% of the injured people we deal with. Which, obviously takes you out of the office. Sacramento is a big place. Sometimes you get lucky and they come to the office or you can meet 5 mins away. The majority of the time you're driving to the outskirts of the city wasting your time on people who don't want to work with you.
I hope he doesn't get fired. He's one of like 4 people that make this job fun. They're moving his desk right next to his manager's. It's weird because they want us to be super independent yet they treat us like children. It's frustrating.
